Clean Up Cheyenne County
County-wide Individual Clean Up Program
Help clean up our towns, villages, and rural roads on your own time, by participating in the Clean Up Cheyenne County Individual Clean Up Program. Through the spring and summer, KSB will provide individuals and small groups tool kits, water, and snacks to go out and pick up litter. We understand that people have conflicting schedules or prefer to avoid groups during this time. In 2020, volunteers committed over 2500 hours just in individual clean ups. This helped KSB reach it’s highest level of community participation, ever!
Yard of the Month Committee
Be a part of our longest running, most successful program!
Keep Sidney Beautiful has hosted the Yard of the Month every summer since 2002! From June through September we celebrate the hard working homeowners keeping their lawns perfect and our town looking fabulous!
In an effort to be more community driven, KSB wants to turn YARD OF THE MONTH over to the community, so the program can expand and be bigger than ever. We are looking for volunteers from all over Cheyenne County to help boost YOTM in the villages and rural areas. The YOTM Committee will meet June, July, August, September if the weather is good, October for Spooky YOTM, and December for Holiday YOTM.
Village Clean Up Micro Grants
NEW! Small grants for small groups
For 2021 Keep Sidney Beautiful will be offering micro-grants for community organizations looking to fundraise and help promote the KSB mission. Four grants will be available this summer to aid in cleaning up the four Cheyenne County Villages (Lodgepole, Dalton, Gurley, and Potter). These grants will be open to most youth oriented and community based organizations located in Cheyenne County.
Keep Sidney Beautiful is also looking for partners to sponsor our micro grants! As a federally recognized 501(c)3, all donations to Keep Sidney Beautiful are tax deductible!
Even if it’s not listed, it doesn’t mean we don’t need help!
Are clean ups and board meetings not your thing? You can help in other ways! KSB is always looking for educators, artists, movers, and helpers to assist with all aspects of our organization. Help us design flyers, or create social media posts! Sometimes we just need a hand organizing the storage sheds! Contact KSB to see how you can help.
