Keep Sidney Beautiful Calendar of Events – 2022

Legion Park Clean Ups

All Summer Long – Dates will be posted

As the recreational hub of Sidney, Legion Park is host to a number of events, tourists, and community members seeking fun, scenery, and exercise. With the seasonal influx of visitors, there’s always an increase in litter. Keep Sidney Beautiful works with the Unified Raiders every summer to host monthly clean ups in Legion Park to keep litter out of our parks.
These clean ups usually take place early Saturday mornings June – September, so grab a cup of coffee and join us in Keeping Sidney Beautiful.

Follow Keep Sidney Beautiful on Facebook for up to date information on clean ups. These clean ups usually happen with short notice and can change as rapidly as the panhandle weather!

Winner’s get their yard in the Sun-Telegraph.
In October we feel the spirit and crown the Spookiest Yard of the Month. This county-wide contest celebrates the most haunted yards Cheyenne County has to offer!
Then in December, we get festive! If you go wild with lights, you want to get in on our Holiday Yard of the Month. From Lodgepole to Potter, Sidney to Dalton, our boards scopes the county for the best display of the year!
